GEORGE PHILIPS
George is one of the country’s leading saxophonists. He started learning clarinet and Saxophone aged 10. He excelled through school and college Passing Grade 8 on both with Honours and distinction aged just 14. In 2002 He gained a place at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music & Drama where his principal study was Jazz Saxophone.
Four Years later, since graduation, George has been a professional saxophone player running his own jazz trio and a 9-piece party band called ‘Brenthouse’. He also makes appearances playing solo saxophone over house DJs for the internationally known ‘Hedkandi’, under the name “Gorgeous George”!
He has appeared on TV shows (including Top of the Pops, Britain’s got Talent and Later with Jools Holland), backing many Artists including Charlotte Church, McFly, Paul Potts, Leon Jackson, Jane McDonald, Josh Ritter, and Cornielle. He has played at many prestigious venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, The Barbican Centre, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and The 606 Jazz Club.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PURCHASING TICKETS FOR LIVE MUSIC AT THE GLAVEN BISTRO
. TICKET PURCHASE
A Ticket for a live music event at The Glaven Bistro entitles the holder to entry to the event and a reserved seat for dining during the event.
Dining is mandatory when booking a ticket. The purchase of a ticket guarantees a reserved table and seating, which includes an obligation to dine from the bistro’s menu during the event.
Tickets are priced per person, and the price includes the entry to the live music event and excludes the cost of dining.
3. DINE-IN REQUIREMENT
When purchasing a Ticket, you are confirming that you will be dining at The Glaven Bistro on the evening of the live music event.
If you do not wish to dine, you will not be permitted to attend the event.
The ticket price is exclusive of dining and applies regardless of the meal choices made during the event.
The minimum spend for dining will be the value of the 2 course menu, in addition to any additional food and beverage charges on the day of the event.
4. PAYMENT AND CONFIRMATION
Full payment is required at the time of booking. Your booking will not be confirmed until payment is received.
Upon confirmation of your purchase, you will receive a ticket by email (for e-tickets) or by mail (for physical tickets).
In case of any issues with payment or booking, please contact The Glaven Bistro immediately.
5. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify The Glaven Bistro at least 48 hours before the event to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made after this time will not be refunded.
No-show Policy: If you fail to show up for the event without prior notice, you will not receive a refund, and the cost of the ticket will be forfeited.
6. EVENT CHANGES
Rescheduling or Cancellations by The Glaven Bistro: In the event that The Glaven Bistro needs to cancel or reschedule the live music event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, technical difficulties, weather, etc.), you will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund will be issued, or you will be given the option to reschedule your booking to a future event.
Artist Changes: If the artist performing at the event changes for any reason, this will not entitle ticket holders to a refund.
7. SEATING ARRANGEMENTS
Reserved Seating: Your ticket purchase guarantees a reserved seat for dining and live music. Tables will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, based on availability.
Arriving Late: If you arrive late for the event, we will do our best to accommodate you; however, seating is not guaranteed, and you may miss part of the performance.
8. HEALTH AND SAFETY
You agree to comply with all applicable health and safety regulations at the time of the event, including any COVID-19 restrictions or guidelines that may apply.
You are responsible for informing The Glaven Bistro of any special dietary requirements or allergies prior to the event, so we can accommodate your needs.
9. BEHAVIOR AND CONDUCT
The Glaven Bistro reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest from the event whose behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, or dangerous to other guests or staff.
Alcohol Consumption: Alcohol may only be consumed at the venue in accordance with our house rules and legal requirements. Excessive consumption of alcohol may result in removal from the event without a refund.
 
10. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
The Glaven Bistro collects and processes personal data (e.g., name, email, phone number) as part of the booking process. We will use your data solely for the purpose of processing your ticket purchase and communicating event details.

A table is then booked for Dinner which consits of a 2 course or 3 course option. this is an additonal cost. which you can choose on the evening.
